The Cottages of Vars
In the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, Vars has become one of the most coveted ski resorts in the Southern Alps. It rubs shoulders with the high mountains in a preserved environment.
The Residence
Located at an altitude of 1850 m, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, Vars has become one of the most sought-after ski resorts in the Southern Alps.
It rubs shoulders with the high mountains in a preserved environment.
Nestled in the middle of splendid larch forests on the borders of the Écrins, Ubaye and Queyras ranges. Vars is one of the most beautiful and largest ski areas in the Southern Alps.
Together with Risoul, it forms the Domaine de la Forêt Blanche. This area has 185 kilometres of marked runs. The modernisation of the ski lifts, the extension of the artificial snow network and the organisation of federative events, both cultural (Vars en Scène) and sporting (Speed Masters, OutdoorMix, Winter Festival…), make Vars an essential ski resort for lovers of the slopes.
The main town of the Vars valley, Sainte-Marie is located in the centre of the hamlets.
Its old buildings with local and traditional architecture make Vars Sainte-Marie the most authentic hamlet of the area.
From your chalet you will have access on foot to all the amenities (shops, restaurants, ticket office, entertainment). Its natural heritage and its mountain character make Vars a privileged place to stay.
Facing the Domaine de la Forêt Blanche
It is here, in the heart of the village of Sainte-Marie, gateway to the ski area, that we decided to set up four exceptional chalets: “Les Chalets de Vars”.
Access to the Peyniers and Olympique snow fronts is immediate thanks to the chairlift located opposite the chalets.
We offer four high comfort chalets, meeting RT2012 standards of bioclimatic design with the use of the most efficient techniques.
Designed with noble materials, the west-facing T4 chalets have beautiful terraces and spacious interiors.
Each chalet offers large, dominant terraces, a spacious living room and a master suite with dressing room. Each bedroom has its own shower room. The kitchens are delivered fully equipped.
